All Saints Films Announces the Official Launch of the Fund-A-Frame Charity Program
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) October 17, 2007 -- Screenwriter turned producer Elizabeth Rossi announces that 10% of all Fund-A-Frame proceeds will be dedicated to the charity organizations American Stroke Association and American Cancer Society. "I want people to know that when they sponsor a film frame, they are not only supporting the independent media arts, but they are having an international reach that will make a positive impact on the world."
The Fund-A-Frame idea was brought to life to support the upcoming production of the feature film "All Saints Eve" and to generate regional support for the media arts and the charities. The overall program offers anyone with an interest in artistic endeavors such as independent films to help support the cause by funding one frame during the film's production. In exchange, the frame sponsor receives an 8x10" photo print out of the frame autographed by the cast/crew. Sponsors of 10 or more frames will have their name appear in films ending credits.
Rossi has been a proponent for the American Stroke Association for several years, with a history of raising funds through the Train-to-End-Stroke program, a program which required training and completing 26.2 mile marathons. "Heart disease and cancer are two of the leading causes of illness in this country ... and both have affected the lives of many people surrounding me."
She notes that, "Although this film is a horror script, the underlying themes are meant to contrast the differences between organized religion which is often filled with man-made laws and traditions versus a more simplistic spiritual faith." The movie synopsis reads, "This horrific mystery begins in the 1700's when a sinister preacher leads an angry church mob to murder a farmer and his family, all in the name of the Lord and all to gain the coveted McKale farmland. In his dying breathe, the farmer incites an evil curse and vows his vengeance. All remains calm for centuries until one fateful night ... the night when restless souls rise in search of peace ... the night of All Saints Eve when the curse is accidentally unleashed and a group of misfit friends must fight to stay alive, discover the truth and solve the criminal mystery before its too late."
Filming is set to begin in western Pennsylvania this month and will continue throughout January 2008. For more information or to sponsor a frame, please visit www.AllSaintsFilms.com or email info @ AllSaintsFilms.com
